Angelscope Terms & Conditions

We strongly encourage you to read these ‘Terms and Conditions’ before you make a purchase. By purchasing from this website and providing us with your email address you may be contacted from time to time with offers and product updates. If you do not wish to receive these emails you will be able to unsubscribe.

General
AngelScope™ provides a service subject to the following Terms and Conditions of Service, which may be updated without notice.  The contract with you when you order a product with us, incorporates these Terms and Conditions, which shall prevail over any and all terms and conditions, proposed by you. The contract shall not be concluded until we have accepted you as an account customer or received your cash, cheque, postal order, valid credit or charge card payment details and we have accepted your order either by phone, fax, e-mail or online with our secure payment system, PayPal.

Every effort is made to ensure the complete accuracy of our website and advertising, however some prices/details contained on our website, advertising, brochures or leaflets may change from time to time. This may be caused by the manufacturer altering their product specification, because of continuous product development. If this occurs or on the rare occasion there is an error on the website, advertising, brochure or leaflets, we will do our best to inform you at the earliest opportunity when you order. All products are subject to availability and stock items will be shipped immediately on payment with stock items or within 21 days of your payment for non stock items. Customers will be informed immediately on receipt of payment should we expect any delays in shipment.

Any promotional offers are subject to these terms and conditions. Any third party services and products forming part of promotions will be subject to the terms and conditions of those third parties. AngelScope™ will not be responsible for the performance of those third parties.

Prices
All prices are shown in £s Sterling (ex-VAT) and are correct at the date of publishing but may vary at a later date – all reasonable efforts will be made to give notice of any price changes as they occur. The price will not be altered once we have received and accepted your order.

Payment
AngelScope™ will require payment in full, prior to or on the day of delivery, to be made via PayPal, cheque, postal order, valid credit or charge card. All cheque’s must be made out to AngelScope and will require clearance prior to delivery. All products remain the property of AngelScope™ until payment is received in full. For your protection security checks will be made on any orders that use credit card or charge card payment to prevent the occurrence of fraud.

Carriage Surcharges
All European and International customers will be charged a flat rate based on the destination delivery address. With the exception of larger orders that exceed the postage and packing by 20% customers will be informed immediately on receipt of payment if carriage exceeds the limit. If a surcharge is required customers will be asked to accept or decline and given the option of a full immediate refund. On these occasions the postage and packing will be calculated by weight and sent by courier or International Royal Mail.

All care is taken to keep costs down as much as possible for our customers. Only European and International Customers that have PayPal accounts will be offered this option. Delivery
Delivery is by carrier or Royal Mail and all charges are shown on the website, brochures or leaflets. Alternatively, contact us direct at info@angelscope.com for an up to date price list. We reserve the right to alter these because of price increases beyond our control. Where a request has been made for delivery on a specific date AngelScope will endeavour to fulfil this request under its normal delivery service, but it cannot be guaranteed. The company will not accept liability for any failure to deliver the products on the stated date. AngelScope requires a full delivery address and post code when orders are placed.

We deliver to the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Europe and many other International regions on request. European and International customers will be required to have a PayPal account (or use the PayPal Guest account) in order for us to accept payment. Please note: a carriage surcharge may be asked for so please read Carriage Surcharges (above) for further information.

Items delivered by carrier or Royal Mail should arrive within 2 working days, but please allow up to 21 working days. For Europe allow 3 working days but please allow up to 21 days all other International Countries please allow 5 working days and up to 21 working days. All Items sent will require a signature on delivery on receipt of goods.

These terms will apply for deliveries to Scotland , Northern Ireland , Southern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight and international destinations. All charges are available on request.

Damaged Goods
If you receive the products in an unsatisfactory condition please retain all relevant documentation. If you receive damaged products, note that fact on the delivery note, even before you open the packaging to examine the contents. If you are unable to do this in the presence of the courier or postman, make sure that you sign for a damaged package – products not yet inspected – so as to give warning that a claim is forthcoming. Please contact us with as much detail of the damage or loss as soon as possible, so that AngelScope™ can arrange for dispatch of replacement products and follow up the difficulty with the couriers. Please do not return damaged products to the company unless or until requested to do so, as this may incur additional costs unnecessarily.

Your Right to Cancel
You have seven (7) working days from the day after you take delivery of the products to cancel. You may return the products without reason and you must let us know of your decision to cancel the contract within 7 working days and any notification must be in writing and sent by post or email. We will then write to you within 21 days confirming your cancellation, informing you of a collection date, the cost of collection and the method of collection. You will be responsible for the cost and safe return of the products. Proof of return carriage charges will be supplied on request. We therefore strongly advise you to keep possession of any packaging, as in some circumstances the collection cost of products that are out of their boxes can be considerably more. While the goods are in your possession waiting for collection you must not sell them or give them to anyone else. You must also take reasonable care of them and make sure they are not damaged. Risk of damage to the returned products lies with you at all times. If the goods have been paid for by a credit agreement, suggested or organised by AngelScope™ then this agreement will be automatically cancelled. We guarantee, unless you have agreed to other arrangements, to accept the return of the goods and refund your money within 30 days of you cancelling the agreement.

When You Cannot Cancel
When you have had goods made to your specification or personalised
Those goods which by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly Goods which because of hygiene reasons once opened e.g. any rapid diagnostic tests that require opening from a sealed pouch cannot be returned once opened or used.

Faulty Products
In the case of faulty products please contact AngelScope™ within 7 days and we will arrange for those goods to be exchanged. The return of faulty goods must be authorised by AngelScope™ – unauthorised return will be refused. Please note that if we cannot rectify the problem to your satisfaction we will refund you in full.

Equipment Warranties
All goods are covered by the manufacturer’s specific warranty and subject to the use and maintenance terms therein. The normal guarantee can only be given where the equipment is used in its intended designed environment, and all recommended instructions of use and storage are followed in full. Warranties will be invalidated if damage to the equipment is considered by AngelScope™ or the manufacturer to have been caused by misuse, abuse and neglect or through absence or insufficient application of recommended maintenance. The warranties add to your legal rights – they don’t replace them.


Use of AngelScope™ Websites
The AngelScope™ websites are the property of AngelScope™ which is a registered trade mark company in the United Kingdom and is protected by copyright. Any visitor’s may not copy, reproduce, download, post, broadcast or otherwise use AngelScope™ content in any way except for the visitors own personal and not commercial use. Links to this or any other Angelscope website should not be made without the prior permission of AngelScope™. You can contact us on info@angelscope.com. In using the AngelScope™ website you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit, anyone else’s use of the AngelScope™ websites.

Data Protection and Privacy Policy
At all times we will observe the requirements imposed by the Data Protection Act 1998 (The Act) and AngelScope™ will provide the appropriate security to maintain the confidentiality of your personal data. We may use your personal data as follows:

  • To fulfil our agreement with you, including administering any accounts, processing and obtaining payment.
  • To monitor your warranties and guarantees.
  • To profile yours and others shopping preferences and to provide you with product information and marketing material (You may opt out of receiving this at any time).
  • For fraud prevention and detection.
  • To administer any prize draws, or competitions you may enter.
  • Disclosure of your personal information.
  • For administration of warranties and guarantees.
  • To our agents and employees to do the same.
  • To anyone to whom we transfer our rights and duties under our agreement with you.
  • If we have a duty to do so, or if the law allows us to do so.
  • We will hold your personal information on our systems only for as long as is necessary and will remove it in the event that its purpose has been met.
  • We may also collect and record information in order for us to understand more about how our site is used. In order to do this we may send Cookies to your PC – A Cookie is a packet of information that our site sends to your browser, which may then store it on your computer. This and similar technology
    helps our web site to automatically gather information such as the number and frequency of visitors and may be necessary for the operation of a so-called shopping cart feature.

Limitations of Test Kits
All the in-vitro diagnostic tests offered by AngelScope™ provide only a preliminary analytical result. A more specific chemical method must be used to obtain a confirmed result. Please contact us for further details should you require it. We do not guarantee the accuracy of the information provided by manufacturers or third parties, and accepts no responsibility or liability for inaccurate results given by any of our in-vitro diagnostic tests. This includes all drug, alcohol and home health tests. We do however do our best to frequently monitor all our products to ensure that we are providing a product that we believe at the time of purchase to be highly accurate.

Disclaimers
Any goods and services provided by AngelScope™ are intended purely as an information resource. We do not guarantee the accuracy of the information provided by external sources, and accepts no responsibility or liability for any consequences arising from the use of such data. Furthermore, we cannot be held responsible for the privacy of data collected by websites not managed by AngelScope™.

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and AngelScope™ with respect to your use of our website or services. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this agreement shall not affect the other provisions hereof and the agreement shall be construed in all respects as if such invalid or unenforceable provisions were omitted.
